A phone call

Sasha was walking on the road , listening to her favorite song and

admiring the view. She stopped , looked up , and saw the sky covered with black colour blanket and that blanket had many dots which were shining bright .While looking up she was reminsing all the struggle she had gone through to reach upto there.

Sasha was a famous writer . She loved history,geology, astronomy. She came to America to start a new journey. It has been two years since she had settled in America with her sister . Her sister was an engineer who was very workaholic .She then started reviving the memory of her first day in America and the dreams she had back in that time .

Suddenly she was interrupted by a phone call. She looked at the name . It was Elisa ,her sister. She picked up the call and heard Elisa's voice trembling

and saying ,

  "Sa...Sasha , hurry . I am at city hospital . Be quick (sniffle)."

Sasha's heart dropped and she wasn't able to think straight. She called the cab immediately with trembling hands. She got in the cab as soon as it came. Her mind was filled with negative thoughts. But her thoughts were interrupted by a voice calling her that she had reached at her destination. She payed the cab driver and rushed into the hospital. Her legs were not supporting her . It was like she is gonna fall if she stopped walking.

She saw her sister at the counter office with her head and hand scratched. Sasha felt a relief as well as fear in her chest . Elisha saw her and came towards her and started crying . Sasha said,

"What happened Elisa, and what's with these scratches. Is everything OK?"

Elisha replied,

"NO,nothing...nothing is fine (sob). I... I just (sob). Someone got hit by my car!!."
